What Makes SparkFish, SparkFish?

At SparkFish, we believe in the potential of every child and young person — and we exist to support them as they grow, question, and find their place in the world.

We’re a Christian charity passionate about serving our local community, working in partnership with over thirty schools across Reigate, Redhill, Merstham, and Horley. Our role is to enrich the educational experience of students through three main strands of work:

  • Learn – Religious Education
  • Think – Moral and Spiritual Development
  • Hope – Pastoral Care

These are areas where schools consistently welcome our expertise, creativity, and resources. Our goal is to inspire young people in faith, hope and love — encouraging them to wonder about life, explore their gifts, and develop meaningful relationships.

We work with children and young people from early years right through to sixth form, always with respect for every individual, regardless of their background, culture or belief.

While our work is shaped by our own Christian faith, we are fully committed to inclusivity and the safeguarding of every student. We value and honour their personalities, needs, and unique potential.

Our team is a blend of passion and professionalism: three full-time staff, three part-time team members, and seven dedicated trustees, supported by a network of trained volunteers from local churches. Together, we bring energy, care, and experience to everything we do.

So, what makes SparkFish… SparkFish? It’s our unwavering commitment to supporting young people, our partnership with schools, and our deep-rooted belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. That’s the heart of who we are — and why we do what we do.
