Volunteering with SparkFish – Could This Be You?
At SparkFish, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do — and we mean it when we say you can be any age between 18 and 180! If you’re passionate about working with children and young people, and want to inspire faith, hope, and love in the next generation, there’s a place for you on our team.
We believe in the Christian message and aim to share it in ways that are relevant, respectful, and engaging. We work across all stages of education — from early years to sixth form — offering spaces for reflection, storytelling, creativity, and conversation.
So, what might volunteering look like?
You could be:
- Storytelling at The Christmas Journey
- Acting in The Easter Experience
- Helping with or setting up a Think Space
- Mentoring a young person
- Serving refreshments at an event
- Baking a cake
- Championing SparkFish in your church
- Or even serving as a Trustee
Whether you can help every week during term time or just once a year, we’ll work around what time you can offer. Every bit makes a difference.
To keep things safe and accountable, we ask for two references from your Christian contacts, one of whom must be a leader in your church. At least one of them should know first-hand about any work you’ve done with children or young people.
Interested? We’d love to hear from you! Visit our website or drop us a line at office@sparkfish.org.uk.
Come and be part of something that’s changing lives — one young person at a time.
